I was in Medical Maintenance there from 1988 to 1991. Many good memories. Interesting times when the Berlin wall came down and Traubie cars started trying to drive on the autobahn.

I was born at this hospital in 1961 and my sister was born here in 1959. I have no memory of the area since we moved away soon after I was born. My dad was in the Army until 1976 and this was one of many locations we lived during the next 15 years.

Hi John I remember Cpt pecha talking about you in a fond way (you were a legend). well its amazing all the projects you managed and how they positely transformed the buildings. I remember Cpt Higgins and Sgt Cousins but some faces I cannot put names to. I think Mr Shrammel was the H&S officer and Mr Schrof was the facilites Manager. however everyone was very professional and respectful. i think being American in Germany in the late 80' and early 90's was very special way of life. I cannot think of anyone I spoke to who remembers their time in Germany not having fond memories. I liked Heidelberg and 130th Station Hospital but not as much as 5th General and Stuttgart.
